Validators

Validators approve and confirm correct transactions on the network. In return they earn AVAX staking rewards.

Validators in the Avalanche network are like the trusted officials of a city, responsible for verifying transactions and maintaining the integrity and security of the blockchain, rewarded with AVAX for their crucial role.

L1 Validators

  • Pay a monthly fee to the Primary network, about 1.3 AVAX per month to register your validator.

  • Meet the minimum requirements of the L1(s) you would like to validate. This can be validator hardware, staked tokens and more.

  • Validators can operate across multiple L1s, earning multiple streams of rewards.

Primary Network Validators

  • Validators stake a minimum of 2,000 AVAX and earn AVAX staking rewards.

Validators can support multiple L1s and earn rewards from each.
