The least you need to know before starting:

• You need AVAX to pay for gas to use Avalanche.

• When you create a wallet, never share your seed phrase with anyone, or store it on your phone or computer. Write it down on physical paper.

• Only send AVAX to an 0x address on the C-chain, other assets like bitcoin should only go to Bitcoin addresses, etc. You can notice the difference in different network's addresses.
