If you are on Avalanche this is what you are using 99% of the time.

The C-Chain, or Contract Chain, on Avalanche is where smart contracts are created and executed, enabling complex operations and decentralized applications.

The C-chain is EVM compatible so it works with Metamask and other wallets, chains.

Remember, you need AVAX for gas to use the C-chain.
